Do you make bridal lehengas for plus-size and curvy brides?

Yes, with all our heart. Every bride deserves to feel completely, beautifully herself on her wedding day — at every size. We make to measure in every size, including 3XL and larger, with our own in-house designers and karigars. Your fittings happen at our showroom, and you can book them any day between 11 AM and 9 PM.

How are my measurements taken?

At the showroom, or guided on a video call if you can't come in. For a bridal lehenga, blouse and dupatta, measurements usually cover:

  • bust, under-bust, waist and hips
  • shoulder, armhole, sleeve length and the round of your arm
  • blouse length and front and back neck depth
  • lehenga length, from the waist to the floor

Wear the heels you plan to wear on the day, or bring them along, so the length is right. Our measurement guide and size chart show more.

I'm petite. I'm tall. Will it be made for me?

Yes. Cut and length are planned for petite and tall brides. If you're petite, talk to your designer about the scale and placement of the embroidery so the lehenga celebrates you instead of swallowing you. If you're tall, your lehenga and dupatta are planned to your length, so nothing falls short.

Can my blouse have more coverage and support?

Yes. Blouses can have more coverage and support while still looking every bit bridal — whether you want fuller sleeves, a higher back or more support for a fuller bust. Tell your designer what makes you feel comfortable, and it goes into your sketch.

I'm pregnant. Can my lehenga be made to fit comfortably?

Yes. For a pregnant bride, the fit is planned for comfort, so you can enjoy every ritual and every dance. Share your due date and wedding date at your consultation so your designer can plan with you.

What if my weight changes before the wedding?

Changes needed at the trial are made before delivery — including if your weight changes before the wedding. If you expect your size to change, mention it at your consultation and ask your designer how they'll plan for it. More in fittings for your bridal lehenga.

Which cuts and fabrics suit a curvy bride?

There's no rule book — only what makes you feel wonderful. Ideas many curvy brides like to talk through:

  • a waistband that sits where you feel most defined
  • a skirt with flare that falls from the waist
  • fabrics that drape rather than stand stiff
  • embroidery placed to draw the eye where you want it

You choose the fabric, the embroidery and its placement one by one, so your designer can show you each option in your sketch.

Will a heavy lehenga hurt my waist on a long wedding day?

Most of a lehenga's weight comes from its fabric and its embroidery. If comfort matters most, you can choose a lighter lehenga by placing the embroidery differently. At your trial, sit, walk and twirl in it — and say if anything feels heavy, so it can be changed before delivery.

Can my fittings fit around my work?

Yes. Fittings can be booked any day between 11 AM and 9 PM, so if you work, come in the evening or at the weekend.

Does a made-to-measure lehenga cost more?

A made-to-order piece is priced on its fabric, embroidery and hours of work, and your designer quotes after the sketch, before any work starts. See what a custom bridal lehenga costs.
