DT Mega Mall Suit Shop: Made-to-Measure Suits for Every Function

Pink Chanderi Silk Stitched Suit from House of Daisy

If you are looking for a DT Mega Mall suit shop, House of Daisy is in Shop 226A on the 2nd Floor. We do not sell suits off a rail. Every suit we make is planned with you and stitched to your measurements, from a cotton kurta set for a daytime puja to a heavily embroidered anarkali for a sangeet.

Why a made-to-measure suit is worth it

Suits look forgiving, but small fit details decide whether one looks sharp or tired: where the waist sits on an anarkali, how a kurta falls over the hips, whether the armhole lets you raise your arms to dance. When a suit is cut for you, those details are planned rather than hoped for. You also choose the length, the sleeve, the neckline and the dupatta, instead of taking what a size chart decided.

Suits we make

  • Anarkalis: floor-length or calf-length, with as much flare as you like. Our customised anarkali guide goes into cuts and fabrics.

  • Sharara and gharara sets: a short or long kurti over wide, flared pants. Popular for mehndi and sangeet. See customised sharara sets.

  • Straight suits and kurta sets: with straight pants, palazzos or churidar, for pujas, roka lunches and family functions.

  • Kurta and pant co-ords: a matched kurta and pant, sometimes with a jacket or cape, for a cleaner modern look.

  • Bridal suits: for brides who prefer a suit for the nikah, an Anand Karaj, or a later function.

Choosing fabric and embroidery

  • Day functions: cotton, chanderi, mul and light silks breathe well. Thread work, chikankari or a printed base keep it fresh.

  • Evening functions: silk, velvet in winter, georgette and organza. Zardozi, gota, sequins or mirror work catch the light.

  • Dupatta: net, organza or chiffon with an embroidered border, or a heavier dupatta that becomes the main feature. A dupatta can also carry names or initials.

  • Colour: pick from any shade; the designer plans contrast between kurta, pants and dupatta so the set does not look flat.

Getting the measurements right

We take measurements at the store. A suit needs more than bust, waist and hip: shoulder, armhole, sleeve length and round, kurta length, and the length of the pants with your shoes. Our guide to body measurements for Indian clothes explains each one, which helps if you are ordering for someone who cannot come in. If you are trying the suit before a function, wear the footwear and the undergarments you plan to wear on the day.

A suit for each part of the wedding

Suits are often the quiet workhorses of a wedding wardrobe. A soft cotton or chanderi kurta set suits the morning puja or the roka lunch. A bright sharara with mirror work is made for the mehndi, where you will sit on the floor and move around. A rich silk or velvet anarkali can stand in for a lehenga at an evening function, and is far easier to wear for hours. If you are the bride, a light suit for the day after the wedding, when relatives visit, is worth planning too. Thinking of them together means colours do not repeat and each one has its own job.

Suits for the whole family

Mothers, sisters and aunts often want coordinated suits for the same function. We can plan a shared colour story, with each person's cut and neckline chosen separately, so the group looks matched without everyone wearing the same thing. See our group orders page for how that works.

If you also need a saree or a lehenga for another function, our saree page and guide to non-bridal lehengas cover those.

How it works

  1. Book a visit on WhatsApp +91 92896 79666 and bring a few pictures of suits you like.

  2. Plan the design with our designer: cut, fabric, embroidery, dupatta and colour.

  3. Measurements are taken at the store.

  4. Approval: the designer shows you the price before anything is cut. Payment is in full in advance.

  5. Making: our karigars embroider it, and you get a delivery date once the design is approved.
