When you type "customised wedding lehenga near me" into your phone, you get a map full of pins. Some are big showrooms, some are tailors, some are studios you've never heard of. Choosing between them is hard when you're about to spend on the most important outfit of your life. This guide gives you seven simple things to check, so you can find the right place — and tells you how to find us on Golf Course Road if you're in Gurgaon.
Seven things to check before you choose a lehenga studio near you
Is the price on every piece? If you have to ask for every price, it's hard to plan. At House of Daisy, the price is shown on every piece, online and in the showroom.
Can a designer sit with you? Customisation works best when the person you talk to can actually sketch and price a change — not just pass a message to a workshop.
Will they price a change before you commit? You should know exactly what a new colour, lighter work or different sleeves will cost before anything starts.
Who makes the lehenga? Ask where it is made and by whom. Our made-to-order pieces are cut and embroidered by our own karigars in our own workroom — the same atelier behind the designer label Bhumika Sehgal.
How are your measurements checked? Every number should be confirmed with you before the fabric is cut. That is what keeps fittings short.
Is the timeline clear? A made-to-order lehenga with us takes about eight weeks from the moment you approve the design, with photographs at every stage.
Are fittings and alterations included? Ours are: you have a final fitting before your day, and alterations at your fitting in Gurugram are included.
Where to find us in Gurgaon
House of Daisy is on the 2nd floor of DT Mega Mall, on Golf Course Road in DLF Phase 1, Sector 28. If you are searching from DLF Phases 1 to 5, Sushant Lok, MG Road, Cyber Hub, Sikanderpur, Golf Course Extension Road or anywhere along Golf Course Road, you'll find us on a road you already know. Brides also come to us from Sohna Road, South City, Nirvana Country, New Gurugram and the Dwarka Expressway.
We are open every day, 11:00 to 21:00. Open House of Daisy in Google Maps for directions.
If you knew our old store in Huda Complex, Sector 11: it has closed. Everything — the pieces, the designers and the atelier's work — is now at DT Mega Mall on Golf Course Road.
What happens when you walk in
We ask about your function and your date. That's all, to begin with.
Pieces come out in your budget. You try what you like, with your family beside you.
If something is almost right, a designer prices the change while you're sitting there — the colour, the work, the sleeves or the neckline.
If you'd rather design from the beginning, a designer sketches it with you. Our guide to designing your own bridal lehenga shows how that works.
You take your time. The consultation is free, whether you buy or not.
Our visit guide to our DT Mega Mall store has more on what to expect and what to bring.
Not near Gurgaon? You can still customise
"Near me" doesn't have to mean a short drive. Book a free 30-minute video consultation with a designer, and your measurements can be taken by your own tailor (our sheet is in Hindi and English), with our step-by-step measurement guide, or at a 45-minute visit to the showroom. Shipping within India is free, and we ship worldwide with the freight quoted before you order.
