The first visit to a bridal wear shop is one of those moments you remember. The nerves on the way there, the first time you see yourself in a lehenga, the look on your mother's face. Where to find us

Our bridal boutique is at Shop 226A, 2nd Floor, DT Mega Mall, Golf Course Road, DLF Phase 1, Sector 28, Gurugram 122002. We are open from 11:00 to 21:00, every day of the week.

• By car or cab — set your map to "House of Daisy, DT Mega Mall" and it will bring you to the mall on Golf Course Road; we are on the 2nd floor.

• By metro — if you are coming by Rapid Metro, Google Maps will show you the closest station and the walking route to DT Mega Mall.

• From nearby — we welcome brides from DLF Phase 1 to 5, Sector 28, MG Road, Sushant Lok, Golf Course Extension Road and all over Gurugram and Delhi NCR.

If you knew us at our old store in Huda Complex, Sector 11: it has closed, and everything has moved here.

What to bring to your bridal consultation

• Your date and your list of functions — engagement, haldi, mehndi, sangeet, wedding, reception.

• Your screenshots — Pinterest pins, Instagram saves, a photo of a lehenga you loved at a cousin's wedding. Even if they don't seem to match, they tell us a lot.

• A rough budget — so pieces come out in your range. You are not shown the expensive ones first.

• The right people — your mother, your sister, your best friend. Whoever makes you feel most like yourself.

• Shoes of about the heel height you'll wear — it helps us see the length properly.

What happens when you come in

1. We ask about your function and your date. That's all, to begin with.

2. Pieces come out — in your budget.

3. You try what you like. Take your time; nobody hovers outside the room.

4. Want something changed? A designer prices it while you're sitting there.

5. And if today's answer is "not yet", you leave without buying a thing. It often is on a first visit.

A styling session costs nothing, whether you buy or not.
