Every outfit, roka to reception

At House of Daisy on Golf Course Road, Gurugram, we make your outfits for every function: roka, engagement, haldi, mehendi, sangeet, cocktail, chooda, phera and reception, as lehengas, shararas and gowns, and for every occasion and festival. You can plan the whole wardrobe in one consultation at our DLF Phase 1 showroom or on a video call, in any colour you choose.

Your wedding is not one day, it is a season of celebrations, and each one deserves its own mood. The roka is about family, the sangeet is about dancing, the reception is about walking in and owning the room. Here is how to plan outfits that feel like you at every one of them.

Can one designer make all my outfits, from roka to reception?

Yes. You can plan every outfit in one consultation, so your wardrobe flows from the first function to the last instead of being put together in pieces. Your first design consultation is free, and your designer shares a sketch for approval. For brides in Sushant Lok, DLF Phases 1 to 5, Golf Course Extension Road, MG Road and Sectors 28, 42, 43, 53 and 54, it all happens at one showroom on Golf Course Road.

Function by function: what to think about

  • Roka: often an intimate family moment. Many brides like an outfit they can wear again after the wedding, so tell your designer if that matters to you.
  • Engagement: a lehenga or a gown made to your measurements. Plan it with your wedding outfit so the two do not clash in colour or feel.
  • Haldi: it does not have to be yellow. We make your outfit in any colour you choose.
  • Mehendi: sharara or lehenga? You will sit for a long while with wet mehendi, so think about ease as well as looks.
  • Sangeet: you can choose a lighter lehenga, so you can dance all night.
  • Cocktail: a gown or a lehenga for the pre-wedding party, as glamorous as you like.
  • Chooda: a ceremony full of emotion with your family close; plan an outfit you are comfortable sitting in.
  • Phera: your bridal lehenga, made for your ceremony, whether it is by day or by night. For a winter night, you can choose full sleeves for your blouse.
  • Reception: a different colour from your wedding lehenga, a lighter lehenga, a long trail or a gown. Under stage lights, embroidery and fabric with a little shine come alive.

Sharara, lehenga or gown?

We make all three, so choose by the moment:

  • Lehenga for the full bridal feeling, and for any function where you want a twirl.
  • Sharara for ease and movement, much loved for mehendi and haldi.
  • Gown for an engagement, a cocktail evening or a reception where you want a modern line.

How do I plan a wardrobe that flows?

Some advice from us:

  1. List every function first, with whether it is day or night, indoors or out, and how much you will dance or sit.
  2. Give each one a colour, so no two looks repeat and the photos tell a story.
  3. Save the heaviest work for the phera and keep the dancing functions lighter.
  4. Think about the weather: sleeves and fabric matter on a cold night.
  5. Bring your family in, so their outfits go with yours. See your family's outfits.

You choose the fabric, colour, neckline, sleeves, embroidery and its placement one by one for each outfit, and every piece we make to order is made to your measurements.

A small wedding at home, a festival, every occasion in between

Not every celebration is a big one, and not every outfit is for a wedding. We make outfits for every occasion and festival too, so a small ceremony at home or a family festival can have a look made just for you.

How do I order, and how early?

Order a made-to-order bridal lehenga at least 8 weeks before the wedding. For your other outfits, the first sketch, the number of fittings and the date of the last fitting depend on the work involved, and your designer gives you the plan at the consultation. A made-to-order piece is priced on its fabric, embroidery and hours of work; the designer quotes after the sketch, before any work starts. If a function is close, browse our bridal lehengas: every piece shows its price, and ready pieces ship in about 3 days.
